The Business Engagement Center actively works with entrepreneurial start-up businesses as well as existing business owners who are in need of development support. We utilize our vast network of campus and community resources to provide entrepreneurs with the guidance and expertise that they need to become more successful.? Business Engagement houses the Sycamore Innovation Lab, a newly constructed space dedicated to experiential learning and entrepreneurial engagement where students can create ideas, experiment with proto types and develop business models. ??
The Career Center prepares students and alumni to make career-related decisions, find internships and full-time employment, and meet workplace expectations.? Our services and programs help students develop career goals, prepare for the job search, and connect directly with employers both on campus and in the workplace.? We work directly with employers to help them find talented interns and employees for the 21st century workplace.
Student Employment is located in the Career Center. This office manages the University’s large student employment program. The office helps students locate on and off-campus jobs and helps employers post those jobs.
The Center for Community Engagement coordinates and supports the University’s nationally-recognized volunteer and service-learning activities. Our programs and services include intensive local and travel-based service programs, drop-in service programs, one-day events, and referrals for individuals who are interested in community service. We offer a mini-grant program to support course-based service-learning and student organization community service activities. Community Engagement is the first stop for community partners that are looking for volunteers or other support from the University.
The American Democracy Project offers programs that emphasize the importance of individuals committing to engaging in meaningful actions, including voting, as citizens in a democracy.? ADP programs and activities include the Pizza and Politics贵州快3人工计划 series, the annual ISU Day at the Statehouse and TurboVote, an on-line voter program that simplifies the voting process.
Indiana State University is sponsoring its third Habitat for Humanity house for a local family. The home, which is the 72nd in the Wabash Valley, will be built in the Ryves neighborhood in fall 2019 with assistance from of students, faculty, and staff of Indiana State. The CSA provides hands-on arts-learning experiences for infants through senior citizens in the Wabash Valley and surrounding areas while providing ISU students who are majoring in the arts outstanding opportunities for experiential learning through teaching.

The Hulman Center is a multi-purpose civic center and home of Sycamore Basketball. The facility includes a conference center that seats up to 300 and the main floor which seats up to 1,000. ?Common uses of the Hulman Center include trade shows, large dinners, concerts and entertainment events, and large assemblies.
The Performing Art Series provides diverse, high quality entertainment to the university and Terre Haute communities.?
The University Speaker Series brings to campus distinguished authors, scholars, sports figures, political leaders, and scientists.? Each speaker is a prominent leader in his or her field.

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Indiana State University (OLLI at ISU) is a non-profit, membership organization open to all adults but geared towards individuals age 50 and older, regardless of academic background.
